Clubhouse updated on January 7, 2022 with the release of the Share feature to help you share your room with your followers. We are also announcing the availability of a beta version of the "Web Listening" feature, which allows you to listen to rooms on the web.

・ "Share" function release

The "Share" function is a function to share a live room or a room recorded using the Replays function on the hallway and notify your followers. You can also copy and share other SNS and links.

The "Share" feature is available to all users in public rooms, but only room moderators are available in social rooms. It cannot be used in a closed room where only specific users participate.

Users can click the "⇆ mark" at the bottom of a live room or room saved using the Replays feature.

・ Share on Clubhouse (Share on Clubhouse) ・ Share via a Social Network (Share on SNS) ・ Copy Link (Copy link)

You will be presented with three options, so you can share your room by choosing the method you prefer.

If you choose to share on the Clubhouse, you can add comments to the room and share it on the hallway. When you share a room, your followers will be notified.

Creators can see comments about shared rooms on Clubhouse.

In addition, the number of times a room has been shared is now displayed using the "Share" function and the "Clips" function that allows you to create and share clips for 30 seconds.

・ "Web Listening" function

The "Web Listening" function implemented as a beta version this time is a function that allows you to listen to room conversations on the web from your smartphone or computer, and you can use it even if you do not have a Clubhouse account.

At this time, the beta version of the "Web Listening" feature is only available in some regions, including Japan.

Listeners from the web are reflected in the "Total Lister Counts" function, which displays the number of users participating in the room, but creators cannot see who listened to their room via the web. It cannot be done and will be displayed as "And Others" in the participant column.
