4 Updates to Osaka Region Transitgateway Peering, Dynamodb Global Tables, DataSync, Lambda expansion

We will inform you that there are four updates in Osaka Region.The new services that can be used in this update are PEering between AWS Transit Gateway, Amazon Dynamodb Global Tables, and AWS Datasync.

AWS Transit Gateway Region Peering

Transit Gateway is a service that functions as a cloud -router by connecting Amazon VPC and premises network to a single gateway that functions as the central hub.When configuring a Global network that connects the region, the use of PEERING that connects Transit Gateway, instead of the conventional VPCs, can simplify the network porcelain and improve the operation management efficiency.increase.In April 2021, Transit Gateway was compatible with the Osaka Region, but it was not yet compatible with PEERING between regions.This update makes it possible to be PEERING with another region Transit Gateway.

Amazon Dynamodb Global Tables

DynamoDB Global Tables achieves full -managed multi -registration and multi -active configuration that realizes high -speed reading and writing performances in large global applications.The global table automatically replicates the Dynamodb table throughout the selected AWS region.

The use of a global table automates data replication between regions, for example, even if one region is isolated or defective, the application can be kept in a high way.

Usage is simple.Enable Dynamodb Streams to the existing Dynamodb table and press the "Add Region" button to create a replica table in another region.

AWS Data Sync

DataSync is an online data transfer service that simplifies, automates, and speeds up data movement between on -premises storage systems and AWS storage services between AWS storage services.He can transfer data to the cloud for the purpose of analysis and processing, archive data to release the on -premises storage capacity, and dake data to AWS to ensure business continuity.Works such as creating, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting scripts, which have occurred in the conventional data transfer processing work, are eliminated or automatically processed.It is also provided with embedded security functions such as encryption of data during transfer, transfer and data consistency verification, optimizes the use of network bandwidth, and automatically recovery function from network connection disorders.Also has it.

AWS Lambda size expansion

At the Osaka Region, Lambda was available from the beginning, but this update has made it possible to provision Lambda functions up to 10,240 MB (10 GB).Lambda assigns CPU power in proportion to the amount of provisioned memory, so this update can access up to six VCPUs.It can be used for workloads that require a large amount of computing resources, including machine learning, modeling, genomics, high performance computing (HPC) applications.
