In addition, organizational reforms were carried out on September 24 with the aim of efficiently responding to the digital environment and establishing new functions and roles, centralizing online material operations distributed to multiple departments. The online materials section was newly established, and the knowledge information service section of the usage service business, which was divided into online and offline, was consolidated and abolished. At the same time, new operations such as planning and research of library data utilization services based on new technologies, establishment of strategies for promoting library data discovery and fusion services of new technologies, and development of next-generation digital library services have also been established.
In addition, the "National Literature Preservation Center" currently under construction will be equipped with functions as a next-generation digital data center, and the "real-life study" built using augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) will be a new real-life content.
