The iPhone and iPad have many functions, but are you able to use them well? A process that has taken a lot of effort in the past may become a lot easier with a little operation. In this series, we will introduce useful tricks (TIPS) for such iOS devices. Please help us. [Image] Conveniently use the iPhone's screenshot function Screenshots (commonly known as screenshots), which capture the contents displayed on the screen as images, are a convenient function that can be used in any situation. If it is a website, there is a method of bookmarking it, but there is a risk that it will become unreadable if the page is updated. Even in such a case, it is safe to leave it as a screenshot. However, by default, screenshots can only be taken within the range displayed on the iPhone screen. If it is a long website that requires scrolling, it is necessary to repeat the shooting many times. Let me show you how to take a screenshot of a long website in one shot. "First, let's review the basics of how to take screenshots." If you have an iPhone with a home button, you can shoot by pressing the power button and home button at the same time. If you have a recent iPhone without a home button, press the volume up button on the left side of the main unit and the side button on the right side at the same time. Then, a shutter sound will be heard and a screenshot will be taken, and the image will be saved in the library of the "Photos" app. This is the basic method of taking screenshots, but with this you can only take the area displayed on the screen. That's where this TIPS comes into play. The method of taking a screenshot is the same as the previous explanation. The difference is the operation that is performed immediately after taking a screenshot. You've probably seen a small preview of what you're shooting at the bottom left of the screen when you take a screenshot, disappearing after a few seconds. If you wait for it to disappear as it is, the screenshot will be saved in the "Photos" library as before, but this time, let's tap this part. Then, it switches to the edit screen called "Markup". Here you can crop the screenshot or draw a line with your finger, but for now let's switch the tab from "Screen" to "Full Page". Then, on the far right, you should see a long preview of the website from beginning to end. The highlighted area at the top of the preview is the part displayed in the center of the screen. If you drag the frame with your finger, you can scroll and see even a long website. If you tap the "Share" button (the button with an arrow pointing upwards from the center of the square) at the top right of the screen, you can share it via AirDrop or send it as an attachment to a message or email. After confirming that all the websites are displayed, tap "Done" at the top left of the screen. Next, tap "Save PDF to "File"" from the menu displayed at the bottom. Then you will be asked where to save it, so select "On this iPhone" and tap "Save" in the upper right. If you are using iCloud, you can select "iCloud Drive" and save it there. Using this method, you can take screenshots even for long websites. As shown in the previous menu, the content captured by this method is saved as a PDF file. If you want to check the saved PDF file on your iPhone, use the "Files" app. You can view the contents at any time by selecting "On this iPhone" or "iCloud Drive" from the "Browse" screen and opening the saved file. By the way, this method can only be used when the website is displayed with "Safari" or "Chrome". Please note that "Screen" and "Full Page" tabs do not appear even if you switch to the markup screen in "Firefox" or "Edge". It may be confusing at first because it is not saved in the "Photo" library like normal screenshots, but it is very convenient to remember that this method allows you to save a screenshot in one shot even for a long website. Let's master it.
