Space is the name of the live audio distribution function added to the iOS/Android version of the Twitter app, and this function enables voice conversations in talk rooms. also has the meaning of Up to 11 people, including the host, can join a space. At the time of the announcement, only users with 600 followers or more can host and host a space.
Anyone who wants to listen to the conversation in the space can become a "listener". When someone you follow speaks in a space, you'll see a purple icon called a "bubble" appear at the top of your timeline. Tap the bubble to join the talk room. With permission from the host, it is also possible to speak as a "speaker".

Listeners can react to chat room conversations with pictograms such as "smile" and "peace sign." It is also possible to display subtitles by automatically transcribing conversations (official support is English only).
There is also a function to share tweets within the space. For example, you can attach an image or video to a post that says, "Let's talk about this topic."
